MTQG hosts on-going quilting lessons to youth ages 10 to 18 years. Classes are low-cost, and guild members volunteer their time to teac
h a variety of sewing and quilting skills. Additionally, through the generous donations from the guild and its members, most of the fabrics and supplies used in the classroom are at no cost to the students. Each session runs from 8 to 12 weeks, dependent upon the calendar at the time.
Please contact Diana Ramsey if you can help in any way. The classes meet Wednesdays from 3:00 to 5:00 at 1st Lutheran Church, 231 Smoke Tree Lane, Prescott, Arizona

Our next session will run from Jan. 8th to Mar. 25th. This 12 week session started with seven new students and 5 returning students. This is the largest class we have held so far and we are excited to be able to continue teaching sewing and quilting to the kids in our community. Because of the larger class we are asking for your help! Wednesdays from 3:00-5:00. We meet at the First Lutheran Church in the Fellowship Hall. Nothing is required from our volunteers except a willingness to share their knowledge with kids. It’s really rewarding to work with these energetic and appreciative youngsters – just ask anyone who has volunteered recently. We guarantee you will make a new friend. Please watch for the helper sign up
sheet during the January meeting. We really appreciate all of our helpers, and we are always looking for additional volunteers.
