As it is vital for our members to receive the latest news and reminders, The Summit is published monthly before general meetings and is uploaded approximately ten days prior to the next scheduled meeting.

For all MTQG Members…
The Quilt Show Co-Chairs are pleased to announce we have a new date for the “2020 Visions of Quilts” show!! It will be held September 4th and 5th with set-up on the 3rd. The most important date to remember right now is June 15th when all quilt show registration forms are due. Assuming there is a meeting that day you can bring your registration form(s) then. Otherwise, please mail to Marcia Jacobson whose address is in the Directory and listed on the instructions sheet as part of the registration form. You can mail forms NOW, no need to wait. Obviously some of the dates listed will change. Quilts will now get delivered to Findlay Toyota Center between 8:15 and 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 3rd. Quilts can be picked-up from 4:30 – 5:30 on Saturday, September 5th, 2020. Please continue to work on quilts for the Small Quilt Auction and items for the Boutique. These will all be due July 20th. “Quilts with a Story” forms can be sent to Joan Carrell. Volunteer Sign-Up Boards for quilt show set-up, take down and show days activities will be available on July 20th and hopefully everyone can contribute time to making the show a success. Oh boy, something fun to look forward to and put on the calendar!
I wish to extend my sincere thanks for the hard work from both Susan Perry and Kristi McHugh, and their committee volunteers, in locking in show dates for this calendar year. We have a lot of work to do to ensure the show is a success, but I have little doubt all the members of this guild will step up to the challenge.
Happy Quilting, everyone!
