BOM quilt for this year. It is another Persimmon Quilt, but I’ve greatly modified it to be a 9-month BOM lap quilt or wall hanging.

Just click on their BOM tab and it’s the Sweet Dreams and Sunbeams quilt pattern from 2012-13. For February 2022 we will be making the March 2013 Block. Please make two. Patterns will be available at the February meeting.

I am not planning to use all the blocks, but rather, I’ll make the center block the first month, then the (very easy and fast) 8 surrounding blocks the next month, then the corners, and finally I’ll fill in the rest with two each of the six blocks posted on our website each month. However, if you would prefer, feel free to choose your 12 surrounding blocks from any of the blocks on the Persimmon website. I’m really excited about this pattern. I have been working on it, and it goes together so easily! And I only had to buy my background fabric since the rest came from my stash and scraps. Remember to check the BOM article in each monthly newsletter, the MTQG website, or the display at the meetings so that you can see which block we are doing each month
